Why Summer Is the Best Time to Start Working Out (Especially If You’re New to Fitness)

“I want to start working out, but I’ll wait until things slow down.”
“It’s summer—we’ve got trips, the kids are home, it’s just not a good time.”
“I’m too out of shape to start right now.”

Here’s the truth:
If you keep waiting for the “perfect time,” you’ll be waiting forever.

And honestly?
Summer might actually be one of the best times to get started.

Let me explain.

You don’t need to be “ready”—you just need to start.

We’ve had a ton of people walk through our doors who were nervous, out of shape, or just didn’t know where to begin.
And one of the biggest wins they never saw coming?

Starting during the summer.

1 session a week.
Then two.
Then a short walk on your off days.
A little more protein at breakfast.
More water.
A little better sleep. Then 3 a week.
