Ashley is one of those awesome folks that shows up and pushes hard every single session. You can tell by simply watching her that she is truly looking to improve every single session she is at the gym.
The best part about it is if you come up and talk to her after her set, she’ll be smiling and willing to joke around. When it’s time to work again, she’s back at it, constantly progressing at all times.
Some other fun facts: Ashley can BACK #SQUAT 195lbs, #DEADLIFT 205lbs, BENCH PRESS 100lbs, and POWER CLEAN 125lbs.

BFP ATHLETE OF THE MONTH: SAMANTHA REED
CORE VALUE: HARD WORK
This month we would like to recognize Samantha Reed as our athlete of the month at Breakaway Fitness and Performance! Samantha started with us a few years back, in our 7-9 year old group and has been super consistent. Fast forwards to today and she is kicking butt in our middle school sessions and is almost taller than me! She has come a long way physically and mentally since she has started and it’s been a joy to watch her grow over the years.
Samantha doesn’t play any sports, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t busy. She helps her mom out at Burney’s Sweets and More and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. The most noticeable aspect about Samantha is that she is always on time and as soon as she enters the facility, she will run to one of the coaches and tell us about her day or past weekend. I always enjoy hearing whats going on in her life. I am super excited to see her training continue to improve and watch her grow up to become a strong women!
Keep kicking butt and working hard Samantha! Congrats on being athlete of the month!
