Check Out Our October Athlete and Client Of The Month!!

This month I want to give a shout out to Tylon for being athlete of the month at BFP.  Congrats dude!  Tylon has been training at BFP for about a year and has recently moved on up to the high school session.  I only get to see him once a week, but he has built a great strength foundation during his tenure with the middle school sessions.    

 

Tylon is a man of few words, but that doesn’t mean he won’t work hard.  He is super respectful and asks great questions during the session.  I must say, he has transitioned very well as we got him moving onto some bigger lifts, such as back squats, overhead pressing, and deadlifting.  I am excited to continue watching him progress and get strong! 

 

Tylon, keep up the positivity and congrats on being athlete of the month!

 

 

At BFP, we support and hold others accountable when it comes to fitness and nutrition. We also work to help folks grow in their personal strength, fitness, and confidence. Laura Hoover does to!

This month we would like to recognize Laura Hoover as our BFP Family Member of the month! Laura is one of the most consistent members we have here at BFP. She shows up at least 5 days per week every single week. In doing so, Laura motivates others to be here right along with her! There are several days where Laura is checking in on others to make sure they are ok and that they will make it to their training session at 5am! That’s the level of support we hope everyone will offer others here at BFP!

 

From that consistency and regular support and accountability given to Laura by others, she has grown tremendously in her personal strength and fitness! Laura has been working steadily on her back squat over the last year. She always had a strong squat but had some hip pain when she ascended deeper into the squat. We took a step back, lowered the weight, and began working on squatting deeper. Now, Laura has officially arrived and is squatting below parallel every single time! She recently squatted 150lbs at full depth! She continues to get stronger and stronger over time too! Laura can also deadlift 235lb, bench press over 100lbs, and Power Clean over 115lbs!

Because of Laura’s consistency, she has grown steadily over the last few years and there is no end in sight!

 

Laura, thank you for always motivating others to work harder. Thank you for being so consistent in your training. Thank you for being so coachable and taking time to focus on technique before the load. Thank you for supporting others and helping others be more fit, strong, and confident!
